Kaspar Lind is a partner and attorney-at-law at ATTELA Law Firm and one of Estonia's leading tax law practitioners. With more than twenty years of experience in advising and representing clients, he combines deep academic knowledge with a practical, results-driven approach to complex tax matters, tax disputes, and administrative law proceedings, including litigation before the Supreme Court of Estonia.
Kaspar holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Tartu (2012), where his doctoral research focused on VAT fraud and its prevention — expertise he applies daily when guiding clients through tax audits, disputes with the tax authority, and cross-border VAT issues. He began his career as an adviser at the Public Law Division of the Estonian Ministry of Justice and has practised as an attorney since 2003, serving as a partner in law firms CASUS and Lentsius & CASUS before co-founding his current practice at ATTELA in 2017.
His standing in the Estonian legal community is reflected in his leadership roles: since 2026 he has served as Vice President of the Estonian Bar Association, having been a member of its Board since 2022, and he chaired the Bar Association's Tax Law Committee from 2014 to 2017. From 2020 to 2024, he was a member of the Sports Arbitration Committee of the Estonian Olympic Committee. He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the council of the Estonian Taxpayers Association.
Alongside his practice, Kaspar led seminars and gave lectures on tax law at the University of Tartu from 2001 to 2016. Kaspar has published articles, including in Juridica International and the World Journal of VAT/GST Law. He works with clients in Estonian, English, and Russian.
